All kinds of
hats have been piled up during the years, so I thought to dedicate a page for
them. Yup, hats are cool 8) Obviously, I won't put all the hats here or even
find a proper translation for
everyone of them, but here are some to take a look at.
"Paddington" The name comes from a cartoon bear character who wears quite a
similar hat sometimes. I don't wear this anymore as it's too small for me.
"Mummokotsa"/"Granny hat"
I found this from a flea market. Most likely it's formerly owned by a grandma,
hence the name.
"Kakkilakki"/"Poo cap"
Also found from a flea market. Well, I guess you can see why it's called a poo cap
;)
"Tupsumyssy"/"Tassel cap" This is my favourite winter hat because of that
cute tassel. It cost only 1€!
"Ranskis"/"French
fry" A regular wool beret for women. I also have a black version of
this which I wear more often. I got this one for free \o/
"Landekotsa"/"Boondocks
cap" This one reminds me of a cap
countrymen use to wear. I do like countryside myself.
"Irkkulippis"/"Irish
cap"
I have many caps but this one earns to be shown because it's related to
Ireland :)
"Valkopipa"/"White
stocking cap" I used to wear this on summertime, but once after a wash it shrinked
quite a lot :(
"Kesälätsä"/"Summer cap" Another 1€ cap, found from a flea market.
"Hippimyssy"/"Hippie stocking cap" I call it that because of the flower in it. Yeah, I'm a hippie of some
sort.
"Ernesto "Che" Guevara cap" I got this from a Brazilian online friend. Thank you, missy! You rule
\o/
"Crocheted
stocking cap" I bought this from the capital city, Helsinki. The seller (who was a
foreigner) gave me discount even though I didn't ask for it :)
"Crocheted
stocking cap #2" Bought from a hawker.
It has nice colors, but I rarely wear it.
