Enya
Eithne Ní Bhraonáin is my all-time favourite artist. The enchanting voice
and compositions of this Irish fairy are something that give me thrills. Her music
just is perfect
for me. Every
song is like a journey to a different place. I can't but agree with the
phrase "There is a place that only Enya can take you." |

Evangelos Papathanassiou is a
Greek composer and a magician behind synthesizers. He has made a long career (began
1961) and is
mostly known from collaborations with Jon Anderson. |

Sarah Brightman
The angel of music. Do I need to say more?
Ok. She's a British soprano known from a few musicals like The Cats and The Phantom of
the Opera. Her bright, childlike voice got me hooked. She shows how versatile
music can be with a classically trained voice. |

Hans Zimmer
The music of this German composer can vary quite a lot depending on the film
but its yet recognizeable Zimmer style. It's like
he invents the music again and again. I'd describe it with
such words as powerful, deep and... orgastic ;) |

Josh Groban
An American talent whose velvet-like voice has melted many hearts.
His voice blends well with Classical and Pop music. |

Moya Brennan
Enya's eldest sister. Known mostly from Clannad but now focuses on her solo
career.
She was formely known as Máire but changed it to Moya after she got frustrated with wrong
spelling and pronouncing. |

Sissel Kyrkjebø
Another brilliant soprano who is from Norway. She also uses her voice
in different styles of music in a very soulful way, I think. She lent
her voice for The Lord Of The Rings soundtrack among other singers. |

Bon Jovi
This is the first band that struck me hard. I was a young girl when I
heard their music for the first time. The band has lost some of its charm today
but I still especially enjoy listening to their older records. Oh yeah,
BJ definitely rocks live. No-one can beat Jon Bon Jovi's stage charisma.

Within Temptation
A gothic rock band from the Netherlands which has got inspiration from
the Irish music.
The lead singer, Sharon den Adel, has amazingly high and bright voice. |

Nightwish
I've
always liked NW's music but their album "Once" did the last trick. I'm
not a big fan of
heavy music but this group rocks my socks. Tuomas Holopainen earns my respect
due to his magnificent compositions \,,/ |
